认识耶鲁大学胡同猫合唱团
耶鲁大学胡同猫合唱团是耶鲁大学本科生组建的无伴奏合唱团,成立于1943年,已经有80年的历史。
该乐团是世界知名的低音阿卡贝拉合唱团,也是耶鲁大学第一个进行国际巡演的阿卡贝拉乐团,曾为美国前总统奥巴马、英国女王伊丽莎白二世等知名人士演出。
他们演唱曲库的480余首编曲均由组内成员完成,涵盖了从爵士乐到流行音乐的经典曲目。
耶鲁大学胡同猫已经发行数十张唱片,并曾获得第52届格莱美流行音乐专辑。
乐团成员
耶鲁大学胡同猫合唱团的每位成员,都是精力充沛、兴趣广泛的优秀学子。他们来自不同的专业——人类学、数据科学、英文、环境研究专业、道德、政治与经济学、计算机和艺术、电子工程等。他们热爱音乐、戏剧,也拥有广泛的个人兴趣,比如制作视觉艺术和玩钉球,讨论文学和撰写创意小说、织物艺术、探索自然和美食等。
音乐总监
洛根·杰洛德·福伊(Logan Gerald Foy)来自美国华盛顿州西雅图,担任耶鲁胡同猫的音乐总监,在进入耶鲁大学之前,就接受过歌剧演唱训练。洛根目前在学习经济学和人类学专业。
兴趣广泛的歌手们带来的必将是风格斑斓的音乐:热舞金曲《准备好》慷慨热烈、美国乡村音乐《跨过浑水的桥》温暖亲切,爵士乐经典《A火车》灵动俏皮,《星星之城》舒缓优雅……

Our old friends from Yale are coming back!
In 2016, 2018 and 2019, the Yale and Harvard University Students a cappella singing groups visited Daystar to interact with our students and participate in our community event, Unity Day!

This spring, Daystar will welcome another world-renowned lower-voice a cappella singing group from Yale, the Yale Alley Cats!
They will perform beautiful a cappella music and will be singing with Daystar students!

Meet the Yale Alley Cats
The Yale Alley Cats is an a cappella singing group of undergraduate students at Yale University, founded in 1943 and now in its 80th year.
The Yale Alley Cats is a world-renowned bass a cappella group and was the first a cappella group at Yale to tour internationally, performing for such notables as former U.S. President Barack Obama and her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The more than 480 arrangements of the group's vocal repertoire have been done by members of the group and covers a wide range of classics from jazz to pop.
The Yale Alley Cats has released dozens of recordings and has won the 52nd Grammy for Pop Album.
Group Members
Each member of the Yale Alley Cats is an outstanding student with amazing energy and a wide range of interests. They come from a variety of majors - Anthropology, English, Environmental Studies, Ethics, Politics and Economics, Computing and the Arts, Electrical Engineering, and more. They love music and have a wide range of personal interests, from Visual Art and playing golf, to discussing literature and writing creative fiction, fabric art, and more.
Musical Director
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Logan Gerald Foy serves as Musical Director of the Yale Alley Cats and trained as an opera singer before attending Yale University. Logan is currently studying Anthropology and Economics.
With wide-ranging interests, the group singers bring a wide variety of styles to the table: the soothing elegance of "City of Stars", the warmth and intimacy of Americana's "Bridge Over Troubled Water", and the soulful playfulness of the jazz classic , and the dance anthem "Get Ready"...
